Commenting on other peoples blogs brings in a lot of traffic, but only if done correctly. Like most things, there are a couple of guidelines one should use.

  1. Comment on blogs that are huge and very well read and respected and,
  2. It’s best to be one of the first three commenters, as opposed to the 183rd.

Commenticating: The act of leaving comments on blogs

comments Most Effective Way To Comment or CommenticateIs there a right and a wrong way to do this? You bet your ass there is! If you didn’t already know it, commenting on someone elses blog is an awesome way to drive traffic to your blog or webpage.

A couple of quick tips will help immensely though.

  • First, try to comment on different blogs at least ten times a day. And, this should go without saying but, make sure you leave intelligent comments. Nobodys going to click through to your website just because you posted, ‘That’s cool.’

A Quick Way To Check The Popularity Of Any Item

is to go to Google, click on preferences on the right of the search bar, then scroll down to Query Suggestions. Check the box that enables suggestions, then make sure you save your preferences.

Now you can go to the search bar, enter an item you’re curious about using for a possible niche and without hitting enter or return, a bunch of related search items come up below your word of interest. Now the nice thing here is, not only do these other keywords come up, but they tell you how many web pages have those key words associated with them.
