A Quick Way To Check The Popularity Of Any Item
is to go to Google, click on preferences on the right of the search bar, then scroll down to Query Suggestions. Check the box that enables suggestions, then make sure you save your preferences.
Now you can go to the search bar, enter an item you’re curious about using for a possible niche and without hitting enter or return, a bunch of related search items come up below your word of interest. Now the nice thing here is, not only do these other keywords come up, but they tell you how many web pages have those key words associated with them.
Lets take ‘wine’ for instance. Throw it in the Google search bar. Before you can finish typing you’ve already got 10 different suggetstions. It’s quick and easy. Wine racks has nearly 6 million results, wine gift baskets has 2.7m, wine country gift baskets a cool half a million results and wine enthusiast comes in at a little over 2.6m results.
Speaking of top searches, here’s todays TOP 5
- Perez Hilton Blog
- Ertha Kitt
- Webkinz
- iTunes
- Wine Gift Baskets
Definately a few niche possibilities there. Webkinz are hot, iTunes are always hot and wine gift baskets are always being sent, there’s just more being sent during the holidays.
“We’ll drink no wine before it’s time” Paul Masson Well guess what? It’s 2009 and I think it’s time!
